Procter and Gamble Youth Olympic Games "Thank you Mum" Programme

P & G, a TOP sponsor of the IOC, is organising a "thank you mum" program for the mums of the athletes taking part in the YOG. Please refer to the attached for more information. There is a reception on 14 Aug 10 that all selected mums have to attend. As P & G needs SNOC to select 5 Singapore mums urgently, please submit ur nominations to me with the following information:

Athletes' name and sport
Name of mum
Mum's contact (email and mobile phone)
Tell us why your mum should be selected (in less than 50 words)

As this is urgent, please send in the nominations to me by 8am, Thursday, 5 August 2010.

I AM READY TO BLAZE THE TRAIL: YOG 2010 FAMILIARISATION AND TEAM BONDING CAMP

Registration and Punctuality
• Please report latest by 9am on 24 July 2010 at the area outside Lecture Theatre 1, NIE, NTU and register at the Registration Counter once you arrive.
• Please ensure punctuality, adhere to the schedules and listen attentively to instructions in case of changes of timing.
• The program is scheduled to end on 25 July 2010 by 2.30pm.

Attire and things to bring
• The reporting attire on 24 July 2010 is the red Yonex shirt and Yonex track pants and covered sport shoes with socks.
• Please also use the Yonex bags to pack your belongings.
• Bring along personal toiletries, water bottle, towels, foldable umbrella, night-wear, underwear, two sets of T-shirts, shorts and an extra pair of socks.
• We will issue you ponchos in case of rain.

Conduct
• Maintain proper conduct, decorum and be respectful at all times.
• You are to remain within Youth Olympic Village (YOV) at all times during the camp, until you are officially dismissed at the end of the program.
• Should an emergency arise and you need to leave, please seek permission from the team manager and inform the organisers. For athletes, we will need your parent / guardian to fetch you from the camp before you are allowed to leave the camp. This is to guard your personal safety.
• Please strictly maintain ‘lights-off’ hours and stay in your respective rooms.

Care of equipment and property
• CDM will issue Team managers the keys to the rooms.
• The team managers, in turn, will issue room keys to the athletes and coaches.
• You will be assigned a room on a twin sharing basis. You are strictly not allowed to swop or change rooms.
• Please ensure that you take all precautions to protect all property and equipment in your room or property /equipment you come in contact with or are assigned to.

Medical attention
• In case you do not feel well or have a fever please quickly inform team managers so that we can arrange for medical attention for you.
• Do not come to the Camp if you are unwell. Keep your team managers updated if you are not attending the camp so that they can update the organisers.
